FLOODING

Information and news about flooding issues in Kettle Community Council Area, and what is being done to deal with these issues.

If you have any issues or information about flooding problems in the area then please get in touch.

WHAT IS BEING DONE

A meeting was held week beginning 4th December 2023 with the flood forum.

We are looking to gain some statistics from around the village.

The information required is:

- who has had flooding which has entered their property foundations

- who has had flooding which has entered their properties

- who has had insurance claims as a result of these floods

We would appreciate it if anyone who has had these issues would get in contact via email at

KettleCommunityCouncil@hotmail.com

This will allow us to take the ongoing flooding concerns forward.

More information gathering will be required and progress will be shared as appropriate.

Please continue to email any further flood issues to us so we can continue to collate the information and take them forwards with Cllr Gary Holt and Willie Rennie, MSP.

Lots of work is currently going on in the background with SEPA and the farmers union
