YOUR COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Usually meet on the first Thursday of the Month in the Memorial Hall, Kettle
Are people who care about your community and want to make it a better place
Are a voluntary organisation set up in statute by Fife Council
Are local people who act for you, working to play an important role in local democracy
Are consulted on applications for planning permission in our area
Have a positive working partnership with Fife Council
ROLES
Facilitating activities which promote the well-being of Kettle Community
Bringing locals together to help make things happen
Advising, petitioning and advocating for local causes and concerns, campaigning on local issues
Providing an informed local context and acting as a voice for our local area
Carrying out projects to enhance our community and organising community events
Keeping the community informed and offering assistance where needed
